What the site provides
The core of the site is a structured card catalog: species inventories, English and Japanese set pages, series navigation, card variations, collection tools, and price references. Database pages and editorial articles are different products. A database value is not an expert opinion, appraisal, or promise that a card will sell for that amount.
Independence and affiliation
PokedexWiki is not produced, endorsed, supported, or affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Niantic, Wizards of the Coast, or The Pokémon Company. Names, images, and marks belong to their respective owners.
How the site is funded
Some outbound marketplace links are affiliate links. PokedexWiki may receive a commission from a qualifying purchase at no additional cost to the buyer. Affiliate status does not change the numeric ranking rule described in the pricing methodology.
Current editorial remediation
In 2026, a large batch of automated ranking drafts was published without an adequate review gate. Automated publication is now disabled. Those rankings and legacy posts are excluded from search indexing while their sources, accuracy, attribution, and usefulness are assessed. Unverified generated commentary and an unverifiable personal expert byline have been removed from the ranking templates.
Accountability
Questions and error reports can be sent through the contact page. The editorial policy, AI-use policy, and corrections process describe the standards applied to material that remains public.
